Mumbai is a City of Dream & Glamour. The lifestyle of the people belongs to their culture. My ‘Journey’ begins when I started outdoor landscapes in Mumbai. First the painting created in my mind. My inner desire inspired me to paint in water color, I am always fascinated by old Bombay and its Black & white era. I am born & brought up in Mumbai, we are missing the Old architecture, Buildings, Monuments etc. The Mumbai is changing with Big Towers, Malls, Multiplex and a new township is generated. The environment is also getting more polluted. We are missing the Lamp Posts, Trams, Victoria, Bullock Carts, Beaches and Play Grounds etc. Instead of we are getting The Bridges, Metro Train, Mono Rails etc. Big Movie Theaters, Drama Theaters, The enjoyment of the travelling is also left and vanish with the past. In my paintings I tried to catch that golden era of Mumbai.
