Srujan

An Emerging Creativity Where Imagination Transforms into Form and Ideas Evolve into Creation.

“Srujan” meaning the process of creation, explores the transformation of thoughts, emotions, and ideas into visual form. It reflects the essence of artistic practice as a continuous and evolving journey, one that is shaped by imagination, exploration, and expression. This exhibition brings together the works of first and second year students of Masters of Visual Arts, presenting a diverse range of mediums, techniques, and conceptual approaches. Each artwork emerges from personal observations, emotional experiences, and individual perspectives, offering unique interpretations while contributing to a collective visual dialogue. At its core, Srujan focuses on the evolving nature of creativity. It highlights a significant phase in an artist’s journey where experimentation, curiosity, and discovery play a central role. The artists are in the process of developing their visual language, navigating between intention and intuition, and gradually shaping their artistic identities.

The exhibition emphasizes the importance of process as much as the final outcome. It acknowledges that creation involves moments of exploration, uncertainty, reflection, and growth. Through this lens, the artworks become more than finished pieces, they become traces of thought, process, and transformation.

The exhibition space itself becomes an interactive and immersive environment, encouraging viewers to engage not only with the artworks but also with the ideas and processes behind them. It invites the audience to experience a deeper connection with the act of creation, uncovering layers of meaning, emotion, and intention embedded within each work.

“Srujan” celebrates emerging artistic voices and the spirit of creation. It brings together diverse expressions to form a thoughtful and harmonious atmosphere, one that reflects the energy, sensitivity, and dynamism of young artistic practices, while honouring the beauty of the creative journey in its evolving form.
