Sutartine: Polyphonies of the In Between
Sutartinė asks how many voices can become one song without losing themselves. Like the Lithuanian polyphonic songs from which the exhibition takes its name, these paintings weave together independent elements that meet in rhythm and resonance. Each painted strip retains its own presence, yet contributes to a larger composition, suggesting that harmony is not born from sameness but from the careful coexistence of differences.
