Continuum: INTACH’s Commitment to Future of the Past
Join us from Tuesday 5th August to 9th August for a celebration of 40 years of INTACH and 100 years of Art Deco in Mumbai.
We have put up an Exhibit – “Continuum: INTACH’s Commitment to the Future of the Past” and organised of a 5-day event celebrating heritage with dialogues, talks and storytelling.

5th August: 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm: Inauguration of the exhibition Continuum: INTACH’s Commitment to the Future of the Past
6th August: 5 pm to 6.30 pm: Panel Discussion – Design, Legacy, Champions & Recognition: Mumbai’s Art Deco & the UNESCO Milestone. Panelists: Dr. Manjiri Kamat, Urban Historian, Mrs. Abha Narain Lambah – Conservation Architect, Mrs. Nayana Kathpalia – Civic society advocate, Trustee of OVAL Trust, UDRI & NAGAR Moderated by Prof. Mustansir Dalvi
7th August: 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm: Panel Discussion – “Preserving Identity: The Role of Heritage in a Rapidly Developing World”. Panelists: Mr. Ranganathan, Mr. Rajan Jayakar, Mr. Venkat, Moderated by Kirtida Unwala – Conservation Architect.
8th – August: 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm. Gods, preachers and spirits: Faith and belief in Mumbai Talk by Utkarsh Patel and Arundhuti Dasgupta.
9th August: 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. Story of the Caves through Dance and Storytelling : By Devpriya
