"Pramod Apet's ‘My Dreams’ reflects the painters strong connect to his place of birth, a little village in Maharashtra, Griwali, Tal. Ambajogai.
‘My Dreams’, proposes his idiosyncratic personal life and disrupts traditional understandings of that dream by focusing simultaneously on images drawn from the village of his birth. On the one hand there are paintings of village elders and on the other, there are images of young boys (one of them being himself as a child) and girls playing simple games. These paintings are highly expressive and optimism mingles with desire, reflecting Apet’s belief that true happiness lies simplicity."

"His subject and theme is a sure shot hit with each and every viewer. The bald Brahmin boys look so innocent and attractive that one falls in love with them. The colours used are so lively and vibrant that it brightens up the living rook immediately. The expressions of his characters are very magnetic. I completely love his artwork simple and attractive."

"The harmonious blend of colours, depth and pure innocence of his characters afford an almost ethereal experience to the viewer of Pramod Apet’s work. Though not a mainstream artist, the future for Pramod can only be promising, for his type of work is a ‘Joy for ever’."
