Ankur Bhatt was born in Mumbai and now lives in Nashik, Maharashtra. His education qualification is M.F.A. in Painting and G.D. Art in Painting.
Ankur is a professional artist and works in all kinds of medium and subjects. He has done nearly 26 group shows all over India in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Chandigarh and Mumbai. Collections of his paintings are also all over world in places like England, Dubai, USA, Thailand, etc.
In every exhibition, he tries to work on and present a new subject. This time he’s working in an old house of Nashik city called ‘‘wada”. “Wada” is our traditional residential system. It has a different way to introduce himself. It's our traditional evidence and culture. He’s tried to paint very small emotional part of that in modern art style, with the help of new way and ideas. It is his attempt to try and preserve our culture and leave an imprint of the same.
