The Ways And Subways Of Life by Mahesh Karambele

Mahesh Karambele, who studied art sheer out of passion is trying to evolve his own style of water colour painting’s. Ordinary folk on the crowded roads, city by lanes and Mumbai’s monsoon are central to most of his works. He presented these crowded roads against the backdrop of dark evenings, rainy days with hazy city lights and drenched folks returning home.

There is something about monsoons and rains that feed the imagination, most artist have drawn creative sustenance from the rains at some point or the other. Monsoon the most romantic, creative season is a source of inspiration for Mahesh Karambele.

It is natural for Mahesh to get inspired by the small lanes in Kalbadevi crammed handcart pullers, buses, cabs, and pedestrians, all in hurry. For Mumbaikar’s monsoon that comes after the scorching summer heat is a relief and Mahesh express it through his paintings.
