“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
- Pablo Picasso
That’s what art really is for me. A window from normal into fantasy. From real to imagination, from restrictions to expression. It’s my observation of the world through such a unique looking glass that it translates into a fresh breeze, beyond mediocrity, for someone else. I believe my art should make everyone feel something. Of course, the emotion is subjective, but igniting an emotion is more than enough. At least then my brush stroke came alive in someone else’s mind too.
I paint the regular to portray a world beyond the adventures of the mind. And, when you are a self-taught painter, the art is exactly like that. The expression is beautifully uncontrolled and fresh. I have been expressing myself in painting for about twenty years now and have had numerous exhibitions in India and abroad. Everywhere, it was welcomed wonderfully and was very well appreciated.
Brief note about the exhibition: The title of the exhibition is " Hidden in life" and the exhibit has my latest collection of a new style I’ve been working on which is an experimental hybrid of traditional form and abstract expression. The resultant style is extremely fresh and contemporary.
