Born on 13th March 1966,Vidya B. belongs to Karwar,a coastal region on Goa and Karnataka border.She has completed her formal education from Dharwad School of Arts and pursued teaching as her profession after that.Along with her experience in painting,she has also bagged some rare achievements like a appericiation letter from the then Prime Minister Shri.Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the year 2000 and the best teacher award in the year 2004 respectively.Vidya has also bagged a appreciation letter from world renowned scientist Dr.Anil Kakodkar in the year 2000. Many of her articles have been published in the leading newspapers and magazines of Karnataka edition.She has also exhibited her paintings in Karnataka,Goa and Mumbai.Recentle she has also exhibited in DDNeroy art gallery and also in Hotel Leela.
