Manjari’s creations in Bronze and mixed metal are semi-realistic in forms of human expression and spirituality. They are brilliant examples of how traditional can converge with contemporary.
Having learnt Sculpture from Triveni Kala Sangam in New Delhi, Manjari has had two solo shows and participated in several group shows – Gallerie Der Dinghe in Munich, Germany, Vadhera Art Gallery, New Delhi, Birla Academy of Art And Culture, Mumbai, Indian Art Festival, Mumbai. Her work can also be seen in the library of the Cricket Club of India, Mumbai.
This show lends focus to emotions that people experience in moments of their daily life, and the divinity that the artist sees in them.
Please note : The Art Gallery will remain close on Thursday 24th March, 2016 on occasion of Holi.
