A Realist Painter....I met Mithun Singh at an exhibition. Since then we have been in touch. Mithun did some brilliant work for my books M F Husain & Amir Khan. I admire his black and white sketches, especially the portraits he does in various style with pencil and watercolours.
Mithun surprised me recently when he invited me to his home to show the work for his first exhibition to be opened at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery. I love the way he has mastered the use of bright colours and some in geometrical forms done in huge sizes. His portrait of Akshay Kumar is one of my favourites. Mithun is a painter to watch. He has grown by leaps and bounds in the short span of time that I have known him......
