Dreams of Reality
My work in acrylic media mostly reflects vivid artistic assimilation of reality and fantasy. Simplicity is my core mantra and my works mostly illustrate the cultural and traditional transformations which a society undergoes in the present era. It also embraces all relevant aesthetics with due reference to the glorious past and its memoirs and amalgamate them with the bright and optimistic but modernist future.
I have tried to show visual effects of reality, spirituality, fantasy in different realms. The canvas/painting depicts an assimilation of my thoughts which has references & experiences of my life, based on various events. It is a reflection of how the human mind is that beautiful space where the traditions, values and culture of the past can merge with the reality and convenience of the evolved today. Through these paintings I am also aspiring to show that what the human mind dreams of today, can become the reality for tomorrow.
