While painting, there is no past, present or future. The moment we live in right now is eternity. ‘Now’ is both static and transient. We are in it because of our curiosity, longing and eagerness to be in the future. Once its here, we take our breath, transform our thoughts into actions and move on to the next level with full sincerity.
Abstract Expressionism is a style of painting where feelings and intentions are expressed on one larger than life canvas. The unabashed strokes and colours that are dropped, splashed, or simply planted on a canvas connects the deepest thoughts of the artist on the canvas. The play of colours and textures create a language of its own to portray a world to the viewer where they can, figuratively, walk into it. This style of painting may not seem to have any form or shape or not even make sense to a person. The aim is to evoke the subconscious feeling out in the open.
You could stare at it for moments together and not connect with it or simply feel lost into its unapologetic verse.
“I, personally, can express my feelings easily with this particular expression than use mere spoken words, that are more often lost in translation.”
