Dr. Abdul Salam Khan is a Gold Medalist in Drawing and Painting, M.Phil and Ph.D. in Visual Arts. A multifaceted persona with distinctive impressionist painter, academician and an amateur writer. Holds more than 15 solo and 135 group-art exhibitions in actual and virtual platform across the world. His last but not the least solo painting exhibition conducted at most prestigious and renowned gallery “Jahangir Art Gallery”, Mumbai in 2019.
Attended more than 18 National and International art Camp’s. In academics and research Dr. Khan presented 9 papers in National & International Conferences and also published more than 26 research papers in peers reviewed journal. Attended more than 150 Academic conferences, seminars, webinars, workshops and faculty development program at National & International level on various relevant and contemporary topics.
Recipient of more than 50 prestigious awards and honors in three diversified field such as academician, visual artist and social art activist some major accolades are national award in form of “Junior Fellowship” by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India; Ministry of Minority, Govt. of India, Junior Fellowship & Senior Fellowship from Ministry of Minority, Government of India, Lalit Kala Academy Award by Odisha State Lalit Kala Academy; State Youth Award by Odisha State Youth Ministry; Young Achiever Award by Institute of Scholars; Swami Vivekanda and Sister Margaret Award by Swami Vivekanda and Sister Margaret Foundation; M.F. Hussain Award by Indial Royal Academy of Art and Culture etc.
Worked as an Academic Consultant for National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, (2010-2013). At presently he is working as Assistant Professor, Amity School of fine Arts, Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
