Two creative contemporary artists Ajit Samal, Bira Kishor Patra, have come together to present their innovative thematic endeavours in an art show to be held at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery. 226,Nariman Point Mumbai:-200026. It will exemplify subtle nuances of their innovative creative work in vivid mediums and techniques under one roof to highlight relevant particulars and thematic peculiarities of their innovative compositional skills alongwith the proficiency in handling various mediums and techniques relevant to their work as a testimony to their command over the mediums and techniques used for artistic and aesthetic adornment of their works with the desired visual effects and compositional as well as skilful hues through the unique visual language of expressions using apt iconic motifs and metaphors in the relevant perspectives of visual arts.

Bira Kishor Patra – He had his art education upto B.F.A. in painting from Behrampur University Orissa followed by M.F.A. in painting from Faculty of Visual Arts, B.H.U. Varanasi, U.P. A proud recipient of several awards even during his student period and thereafter as well, he has actively participated in many solo and group art shows at numerous art galleries all over India and rendered his yeoman services for propagation of fine arts to masses through talks on radio/TV etc. His artwork in acrylic colours on canvas illustrates subtle nuances of Fascinating Devotion in his unique style of visual expressions. His expressive thematic endeavours uniquely reveal the conceptualization on divine path through music of spirituality and rhythm of music. It is effectively revealed through his artistic exploration of the beauty and reality of the Universal metaphor in human soul, mind and heart. These divine sentiments have been depicted very artistically by Bira Kishor Patra via vivid interactive and expressive emotional experiences which have duly inspired him to vividly portray the spiritual Universe connected and closely related with Divine Music that, in turn, showers its eternal elixir and nectar on the entire mankind. The artistic expressions in various works symbolize the divine journey from the outer world to the inner subconscious mind which is based on spiritual experience of Divine Gurus, Saints etc. as has been aptly derived from the Universal truth of SELF-REALISATION in the relevant perspectives. He has used skilful technique and stylish innovative visual language of expression via textures, tones, colour harmony and its resonance etc., apt icons and their relevant hues for the aesthetic and artistic adornment of the thematic works in semi-abstract style with natural and abstract beauty and their innovative hues.

Ajit Samal – He had his art education upto I.F.A. at Govt. College of Art & Craft, Odisha followed by further advanced education upto B.F.A. at M.S. University, Baroda. He has participated in some solo and group art shows at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mumbai, Hyderabad and New Delhi and won accolades and public appreciations for his presentations. His works are in proud collection of several corporate organisations and institutions of national and International reputations.
His works are in mixed media and abstract style of visual expressions. They illustrate various aspects such as Imperfection of ‘Nature, Deep Red Drop, Looking Within, Horizontal Blur of line, Mother & Child and many more. His unique style of composition and techniques for artistic adornment of the thematic works with the desired hues of innovations along with the command over the medium and techniques used are simply amazing as well as mesmerising in apt perspectives. It is indeed a visual treat for any art lover / collector of contemporary arts.
