Coffee Essence Workshop is basically coffee painting. Fabulous compositions can be made with just coffee and water on cartridge sheets. The intriguing factor in this art form is how a simple coffee concoction is used to derive different tones, get various patterns in place and finally it sums up into an art work. The workshop will show you how coffee can be used to create anything you desire from abstracts, graphics, and landscapes to even figurines! After an introduction to coffee art and the scope as well as limitations of this medium, the participants will work on a landscape which will be a common composition for the whole group. They will also work on a graphic or contemporary piece, which will be their original work.
Trishna Patnaik, a Bsc (in Life Sciences) and MBA (in Marketing) by qualification but an artist by choice. A self-taught artist based in Mumbai, Trishna has been practising art for over 14 years now. After she had a professional stint in various reputed corporates, she realised that she wanted to do something more meaningful. She found her true calling in her passion, that is painting. Trishna is now a full-time professional painter pursuing her passion to create and explore to the fullest. She says, "It’s a road less travelled but a journey that I look forward to everyday."
