TIME UNCHAINED

TIME UNCHAINED

magine trave ling so far into the future that you reach the end of time. This idea lies at the heart of Tarab Khan’s latest body of work. Fascinated by time, memory and the fragile boundaries of reality, Tarab imagines an end not as darkness or destruction, but as something stranger: a universe that has run out of capacity to process itself. Reality begins to glitch. Centuries overlap. The past slips into the future. Memory, dream and prophecy begin to occupy the same space. Within this fractured continuum, Tarab creates an enigmatic world: an astronaut drifts through an uncertain eternity, boats navigate impossible waters, clouds carry wandering dreams, and mystical creatures emerge from forgotten worlds. Familiar objects become fragments of displaced time—some remembered, some imagined, others perhaps belonging to a time that never existed.

For Tarab, these encounters unchain time from chronology, a lowing science and mythology, memory and imagination, the ancient and the yet-to-come to coexist. The universe is still running. Sti l beautiful. Sti l dreaming. But the cracks have begun to show.

Time Unchained inhabits this threshold, where reality forgets its rules and chronology dissolves, leaving imagination to take its place.
